4. And tender loves may still linger there
Whose images stir the hearts to passion and fervor

8. Until they uncovered themselves from darkness and dressed

Disturbed, restless upon the winding road

15. Honoring the nobility of Hussein and Musab,
And the actions of Abdullah and thereafter Tahir

16. A people who humiliated abundance until they became
The most deserving of people of every honor

17. Lions of an epic, and if tumult subsides
They are like the full moons and the Pleiades

18. They came following the forerunners when there was no

19. O sons of Hussein, your character has not ceased
To be of a gentle, radiant garden

20. Great deeds were begun with the first of you
And concluded thereafter with the last

21. You pursue Talha in action, even while you travel
Along the bright moon of the sky

On the day of battle and multitude of the superior

24. Whether you are thanked or unthanked
The star is as the beholder's eye has seen it
