1. The generosity, nobility, and liberality
Of the generous man Ahmad Ibn Al-Haytham

2. His virtuous manners have made him
A shining white mark on the face of gloomy time

3. A king who built great glory for Al-Azd
With his two swords and money

4. His fathers were the hunt of kings whenever they belonged
So he belongs to the generous kings

5. The fathers of Sa'daq straightened with their deeds
The roughness of time though it was not straightened

6. They inherited generosity so they bequeathed it, thus you see
None but them is intent on generosity

7. Boughs of lofty palm trees, they left generosity
Of the giver, nobility, and magnanimity
