1. O Abu Sa'id, in days full of lessons
While time flows between calm and distress

2. No events persist; they are fleeting
Leaving behind neither harm nor gain

3. Be patient, replacing sorrow with hope
Though the moon is darkened, sunlight remains

4. Has time since mankind's birth e'er lacked
One guided to walk in truth's terrain?

5. Take heart, let not sadness defeat you
Only the wise man finds comfort in pain

6. The Master of Faithful's not fully gone
Though taken by fate, his spirit remains

7. The Imam passed, but as his successor
Rules an Imam of justice who brings rain

8. The Caliph is Harun, whose qualities
Stump minds and thoughts, however adept

9. You found him at dawn, dispelling the night
Of turmoil and chaos in which he was kept

10. Your sword silenced rebels, lethally sharp
Annihilating foes without relent

11. You rushed to cement his allegiance
Till secure were its ties and extent

12. Summoning the deaf to hear guidance, triumph,
Victory-your call when news came of it

13. For the Master of Faithfuls you tabled it
With your blade, when told of his warrant

14. You served Islam's cause, and your King
Rewards you with honor and pride as recompense
