1. O son of Jesus, son of Farroukhan, for distress
There is pride in Jesus son of Farroukhan

2. We have descended upon Dayr Qunna, and do not desire
Any abode other than there being fresh water

3. So pour from where Kisra used to drink
A band, all of them thirsty and heated

4. From a vat which the sun has abandoned
Abandoning it not from other than it, fire

5. It is the wine, except an alien name
Was attributed to it, borrowed

6. And upon you much generosity, since it was the way
Of the generous, the plentiful, to be generous
