1. God has released me from estrangement
And I have attained what I hope for through patience
١. قَد سَلَّمَ اللَهُ مِنَ الهَجرِ
وَنِلتُ ما آمُلُ بِالصَبرِ
2. And God has made wretched those who denounced me
When I was most helpless and unaware
٢. وَأَشمَتَ اللَهُ بِمَن عابَني
أَحوَجَ ما كُنتُ وَما أَدري
3. In the moment of fear, joy came to me
Thus comes the turn of fate
٣. في ساعَةِ الخَوفِ أَتَتني المُنى
كَذاكَ تَأتي عُقَبُ الدَهرِ
4. I will thank patience and its blessing
God has helped me to be grateful
٤. سَأَشكُرُ الصَبرَ وَإِنعامَهُ
أَعانَني اللَهُ عَلى الشُكرِ
