1. When I remember my Lord
My longing for Him stirs within me

2. I sought the light of my life and heart
In remembering my glorious Lord

3. None has tasted the flavor of love
Except those who know union or its pain

4. O people of piety, hasten towards Allah
For none but He is seen in existence

5. He brought them near and chose them
So they purified thought in His sublimity

6. They pay the world no heed
Having witnessed His beauty

7. He lifted the veils from them
And they inhaled the breeze of His love

8. He revealed Himself in light and splendor
So they exclaimed, "O He, O He!"

9. He said, "I am your loving Lord
The Bountiful, the Best of Gods

10. Mine is the kingdom and command
You are My feast and glory is My glory

11. The generosity is My generosity, the grace My grace
I am the One hoped for, the Giver

12. I accept those who repent among My servants
And I disregard their sins

13. Love is My love, nearness is My nearness
Honor is My honor, so enter My sanctuary

14. Gladden your heart with a drink from My cup
Delight your eyes with what you behold

15. And reflect with wisdom's eye
On the land of your Lord or His heavens
