1. He gave my heart worries and anxiety
And deposited in my eyelids insomnia and wakefulness

2. I see the arrows of death spared no one
Not even the kings and people of the markets

3. The death of our chosen one, son of virtue, shocked us
His virtue made his death even more shocking

4. And disputed in religion, his united community
Became separated by his loss that left truth effaced

5. A day of stars falling, the day he passed away
He who cried and grieved over his loss

6. I used to blame fate for him
And defend myself from all that happened

7. Yearning for my refuge of light and piety
Whose awe filled minds and sights

8. Of divine knowledge and guidance
And ambition that transcended all horizons

9. A surplus of generosity, perfect reasonable mind
Who guided the foolish and incompetent

10. Key that opened what was locked
Patch that mended what was torn

11. Disperser of those gone astray, uniter of those separated
Subduer of those divided, eliminator of those distinguished

12. When angry a lion, when raging a musk
To those in discord, a conciliator

13. A shelter for those who drowned, refuge for the collapsed
Trustworthy when he spoke, obedient to his Creator

14. Support of those who slipped, cradle of those fallen
He surpassed his peers by God, surely bonded

15. And deserved exceptional piety that distinguished him
The honest one of manners, the sword of guiding light

16. He adorned Shariah, graced the chest and neck
Of sweet traits, the crown of the gnostics and from

17. The sea of truth my Lord has quenched his heart
The reality and the Shariah combined in him

18. So he excelled, by my Lord effacing the helpless
A sea of generosity and abundant knowledge so if

19. Asked he overflowed and poured forth
He covered truth with brocade and embroidered it

20. In his time, then after him became a people
Through him the corruption of heresies tottered and in

21. His days falsehood expired and crumbled
Wealth spent protecting honor, his character is pure

22. Dazzling, the night of doubt when it darkens
His slogan is righteousness and piety and his religion

23. Is satisfying God, serving guests if they knocked
So religion is organized and the generation spread

24. Through him, the Creator beautified people
The necks of sinners and wrongdoers bowed

25. Their shackles and chains unlocked through him
And my poetry is most beautiful when recited

26. As praise, declared as truth when chanted
My Lord of the two brilliant dawns

27. And God favored Ahmed in his heavenly ascension
Hasten with your grace the chosen one forgiveness

28. And make him join the prophets and the righteous
Rain upon him abundant contentment

29. And send him abundant pardon and kindness
And make his grave secured and spacious

30. And make him embraced by the heavenly maidens
