1. Straying in the prime of youth you have wasted it
You have gathered with it scattered abundance for display

2. You have turned away from righteousness, disregarding
God's judgement on the Day of Reckoning and display

3. Your conscience that God is not All-Knowing
And in His knowledge are the unseen heavens and earth

4. Straying you seek ignorant evil suspicions
By neglecting supererogatory and obligatory acts

5. Laughing toward evils you still hasten
With the tails of ignorant length in earnestness and running

6. How your ribs fold over wicked intention
Do you not fear the Owner of extension and grasping?

7. An ugly conscience in an ugly doer
Upon some the state testifies to some

8. Your resolute self in refining what you have reaped
By preventing the eyelids from the pleasure of blinking
