You have succeeded in this world and triumphed in the next

2. Ears adorned with a string of gems
The hearts wish they could wear it around their necks

3. Your gems have adorned noble souls
Thus honoring them and raising their worth

4. What is religion but what the great ones have narrated
They conveyed to us reports of good tiding

5. And presented the Prophet's hadiths protected
From falsity and distortion, deserving thanks

8. An ocean of knowledge giving forth pearls not pebbles
So extract from it pearls and make of it a vast sea

9. His books are a light and a light for the observer
They have shone radiantly and yielded ripe fruit

10. He followed the chosen Prophetโ€™s way, compiling his scattered traces
Summarizing them concisely and refining them utterly
