1. The learned are stars shining bright,
And you among them are truly the sun without doubt,
١. ذَوو العلمِ في الدُنيا نُجومٌ زَواهِرُ
وَإِنَّكَ فيها الشَمسُ حَقّاً بِلا لَبسِ
2. When you appear, your light hides all other lights,
Have you not seen how the stars disappear when the sun is out?
٢. إِذا لُحتَ أَخفَى نورُكم كُلَّ نيِّرٍ
أَلَم تَرَ أَن النَجمَ يَخفى مَعَ الشَمسِ
