1. The breeze gathers for joy and benefit
On a day like this that glitters
١. الراح أجمعُ للسرورِ وأنفعُ
في مثلِ ذا اليومِ الذي يتلمَّع
2. Awake and cloudy is the sky that dawned
As if spotted by them a raven
٢. صحوٌ وغَيم في سماءٍ أصبحت
وكأنّها بهما غراب أبقع
3. A day as if the wind in its expanse
Is sheets being passed and returned
٣. يوم كأنّ الريح في أرجائِهِ
لُحُفٌ مشقَّة تمرّ وترجِع
4. So enjoy, for this is the embellished face of the garden
And drink, for this is the ornamented garment of the sky
٤. فاطرَبْ فذا وجهُ الرِّياضِ مرصَّعٌ
واشرب فذا ثوبُ السماءِ مجزّعِ
