1. Rejoice, O the apple of the age's eye,
With enduring joy and attained wishes,

2. And you are the Imam who
The excellence was evident to him in half of the Quran

3. So O you who cloaks me in abundant bounties,
And deserve my rights and raise my status,

4. You have owned my praise by good acts
And joining hands and proximity of friendliness,

5. Thus I have become with you a captive of the eyelids,
Whenever I try to give thanks, my tongue fails,

6. So be happy knowing that I am grateful,
Pure of heart and clear of sins,

7. I mentioned you between the pouring of goblets,
As playfulness comes unhindered,

8. And the tambourine responded in its pulling,
With the flute the reverberating tones,

9. And a Qumeri lute player responded to a skilled musical performer,
As their tunes rose high,

10. While we distribute amidst the goblets,
Juices as sweet as flowers,

11. And when our swings became visible,
Stirred by youthful coquetries,

12. While we are in a downpour of water,
Mixed with wine and musk and incense,

13. From a sprinkler of a water-carrier
And one who hurls slender pitcher necks,

14. And the full moon spread in the Nile
A polished Yemeni sword blade,

15. So you remain still conquering enemies,
And you possess what remains of glory,

16. For you are the one through whom we attained wishes
In every state and in every affair.
