1. My heart is created for your love above all creatures
And its gratitude is inscribed on the palms of my hands

2. For you are the Truth while the angels are false
You are the full moon while the world is but lanterns

3. I sacrifice myself for you, O son of Mu'adh, from tomorrow and for him
Your vastness on earth seems narrow

4. You have two keys for sustenance created
While the people of the world struggle for it

5. If not for you the excellent ones would not find a victor
And sympathy would not stand among people

6. Neither the clothes of arrogance make you conceited
Nor does your patience get distracted or divided

7. You initiate moisture while the fire of war rages
When mouths dry up and saliva runs out

8. In affliction, you innovate like al-Mansur
And in supremacy, you excel like Mu'izz al-Din

9. Thus glory with you is inherited and earned
While with others it is lies and stolen

10. And praising you is honesty without fraud or deception
While with others it is patching up and redressing

11. When God gave you wisdom, He gave it to you
Only because you deserve what He gave you

12. So see the poems of those whose glory you raised
Is there any flaw or rip in their praise of you?
