1. Enjoy the best life has to offer
Be merry, and pay no heed to critics

2. Seize pleasures with delight
And do not let today hinge on tomorrow

3. In a gathering founded firm
With good fortune, despite the envious

4. As if its beauty has ever drawn
Good fortune and great success

5. Lofty its build, tall its height
Towering over Aldebaran and Altair

6. Had it revealed itself to Chosroes
His palace would not have been its seat

7. What palaces were built before it
Yet none as wondrous as this

8. How could it not shine the fairest
When it was built by the guiding Imam

9. Enveloped in divine favor which rendered
The most humble of men envied

10. I praise him thankfully for the merit
Above excellence or renewal

11. O Lord, make me its defender
From all that it dislikes or disavows

12. And bless him, O Lord, as he should be
For the responsibility imposed on him
