8. And affection whose bliss, if attained
Through perception, would be ambergris.

9. I wished it generosity and promises like what
You have reaped of merits, sights or reports.

10. And likewise, he who has the dear one as a brother
Seeks refuge on a lofty, rugged mountain.

11. May God send blessings upon him as long as the darkness stretches
And the eyes of people see the dawn illuminated.

12. Do not forget what I owe you, I am a man
Who stands steadfast upon repaying your favors until the day of resurrection.

13. I fear that if you neglect heedfulness
Of your like’s customs, I would be remiss.
