1. God has made every new age,
With you O generous noble Malik,

2. Yet you continue to reap in bliss,
Every day more joy and pleasure.

3. You adorn the king and caliphate with glory,
And anger the enemies and please the envious.

4. You have made for me with your bounties,
Every morning a feast of favors.

5. May God not please the eye of one hostile to you,
And grant you eternity in enduring.
