١. وأسوَدَ يحكي الليل نُقْبة لونِهِ
حَكَى أمَّه في كلّ تركيبِها لِينا
2. He reached the end of his days yet remained unbroken
You'd think his life unfinished, only twenty years
٢. ويَبلُغ أقصى عمرِه وهو أمَردٌ
وتَحسَب باقي أَيْرِه عِقْدَ عِشرينا
