1. If Nouroz could speak when it came,
With a mouth and articulating words or a tongue,

2. It would call out to you, “You are the feast, O feast of one
Who celebrated Nouroz and the festival.”

3. If a man transcended his mortal state,
He still wouldn’t attain your merit through excellence.

4. You were granted glory and bounty in the cradle,
And God graced you with eloquence.

5. So how can praise enumerate your qualities,
When you are of such lofty merit beyond all affairs?

6. O, the beauty with which you rise is sublime,
O, quintessence of the Merciful, your affection is warmth.

7. The worlds have traveled in praising you through my verse,
And my poems have trilled for you.

8. Since I started composing in your honor,
The sorrows of calamities and trials of time have bid me well.

9. You still remain vanquishing the enemies,
Attaining the utmost heights of the abode.
