1. My strivings transcend boasting,
They are the brightest of the bright stars.

2. How can boasting enumerate what I contain,
When what I hold has surpassed drops of rain?

3. From the grace of my light is the morning sun’s light,
And from my elevation is the full moon’s loftiness.

4. What noble one has not smelled my fragrance?
And what sound person has not come to my ocean?

5. What glory have I not opened its door?
And what knowledge has not entered into my chest?

6. Merit prides itself on my achievements,
And time hears about my affairs.

7. How much fate has lowered from its position,
When my discernment raised its value.

8. So it suffices whoever has opposed me,
That he has spent the night an enemy to me forever.

9. How many betrayers I have for me in the world,
Time has cast them away from me out of betrayal.

10. And how many oppressors who did not cease in their oppression,
Were punished by me without their knowing.

11. Among them is he who tasted the cup of misery,
Shattered before the passage of time.

12. And among them is he whose unity time has scattered,
After gathering and abundance.

13. And among them is he who was lowered from his glory,
And lived in humiliation and dread.

14. Say to the people of villainy, as a clear sign,
Revealing the hidden and the open:

15. “Thus is every obstinate opponent humiliated in his time,
Who blocked my aid.”

16. I swear by the House, and whom has made pilgrimage to it,
And the Corner, and the Station, and the Stone.

17. If the sun concealed within its sphere any evil against me,
It would cease its course, unable to complete it.

18. And everyone who hates me, he will surely
Die or live in pettiness.
