1. No one deserves praise or gratitude
By inheriting glory or random fortune.

2. The exalted master, the ransomed one,
Is he who stood tall amid the spearheads

3. And attacked the night of every peril
With the brilliance brighter than a lamp.

4. He acquired dignity through courage and loftiness
And bought praise through benevolence and tolerance.

5. Thus is glory built and greatness attained
As the hostile enemy is kept away.

6. Not like one who imitated others
Or soared like a bird with no wings.

7. I did not befriend glory nor befriended by it
If I sought it with less than my wrap.

8. Or if I was diverted by frivolities
Or rumors or comfort or rest.

9. Glory's whiteness is not bleached for me
Unless I wash it with the blood of wounds.

10. And keep the enemies away with resolve
Above all, that crushes barriers.

11. And with might that splits skulls and necks
Like flesh split for sacrifice.

12. I am the singular light and lord of highness
And the sword on the day of swords.

13. I am the key to every glory
When the world starts without keys.

14. I am serious like a wall in matters
While others jest and play.

15. Not one who claims glory falsely
With a blemished and impure offer.

16. Ask glory about my mornings, nights,
Evenings, risings and rests.

17. Does my speech and deed delight it?
My dedication and determination?

18. While others are but barking dogs.
