And respond to the voice of an intimate friend

8. Like slender branches they seem
Delicately touching beneath the abodes

9. Each fascinated gazelle kindles passion
With sweet words and a magical glance

10. So leave aside thoughts and don delightful clothes
Reveling joyfully beneath his famed pavilion

11. And pass around the wine-cup merrily
Serving the great and the small
