The disease of kingship but you

18. Whoever usurped rule when you protected it
Rulership cannot be protected by usurpation

19. The capable inherited it and the worthy obtained it
A kinsman seasoned in it

20. Your talismans are your belts, so if
They dry in the presence of youth and old age

21. You were called in cradles by them and returned
To you before heading out and riding

22. If the Jinn of the night were truthful to me
I would be passionate about wondrous humanity

23. With the two horns of pen and palette
Or the two containers of bowl and cup

24. I’d split the mind on an eloquent phrase
So it would present me with a wondrous meaning
