1. I do not wish for gardens, for in you is sufficient bounty,
The sight of you is refreshing, your fruits are sweet.
١. مَا أَرْتَجِي بِالرِّيَاضِ فِيْكَ غِنًى
عَنْهُنَّ لِي مَنْظَرَاً وَطِيْبَ جَنَى
2. They say go tour the gardens, but they don't know,
What the gardens contain for us from you.
٢. قَالُوا تَرَوَّحْ إِلَى الجِنَان وَمَا
يَدْرُونَ مَا فِي الجِنَانِ مِنْكَ لَنَا
3. I turn my eyes, and see no beauty,
Except I see that beauty coming from you.
٣. أَدِيْرُ طَرْفِي فَلاَ أَرَى حَسَنَاً
إِلاَّ أَرَى مِنْكَ ذَلِكَ الحَسَنَا
4. O sun-like face, O doe-eyed one,
O holder of staff erect and pressed.
٤. يَا شَمْسُ وَجْهَاً وَيَا غَزَالَةُ أَلْ
حَاظَاً وَقَدَّ القَضِيْبِ مُحْتَضَنَا
5. For me from you is what, if I were to weigh,
The easiest part with all that's on earth would outweigh.
٥. بِي مِنْكَ مَا لَوْ وَزَنْتُ أَيْسَرَهُ
بِمَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ كُلِّهَا وَزَنَا
6. If it was said who's the best of mankind, and who

٦. لَوْ قِيْلَ مَنْ أَحْسَنُ الأَنَامِ وَمَنْ
