1. In grammar, he emulated the two Akhfashes
So he came up with a wondrous oddity
١. تَشَبَّهَ فِي النَّحْوِ بِالأَخْفَشَيْنَ
فَجَاءَ بِأُعْجُوبَةٍ مُطْرِفَهْ
2. He never heard grammar, yet
He had read some of it and got it wrong
٢. وَلَمْ يِسْمَعِ النَّحْوَ لَكِنَّهُ
قَرَا مِنْهُ شَيْئِاً وَقَدْ صَحَّفَهْ
3. If he's not Akhfash the two beholders
Then the lad is Akhfash of cognizance
٣. فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَخْفَشَ النَّاظِرَيْنِ
فَإِنَّ الفَتَى أَخْفَشُ المَعْرِفَهْ
