Empty of neighing and hooves

As though it were a night upon a morn

7. With blood, like that from wounds, running
A flood like arrows, streamed from a bow

8. I have rid them of harshness and spite
And the heavy darkness of pressing night

9. Intoxicated, they savored the winds’ delights
And continued their merriment with fruits

10. Oh, what carefree joy without restraint
Where jest is as one with earnest work
