1. To your call I rode her, swift as wind,
Her saddle's nap rose high and undeterred,
2. Born in fertile seas yet barren sands her source,
Never fading, ever surfacing assured.
3. If her zeal met refusal she would turn its tide,
With her rider's palms she gently would steer
4. As dawn strips night of its veil,
Leaving eyes in darkness not yet cleared.
5. Toward you she flew on hooves spread and unspread,
Galloping glory faster than fear.
