1. As if the fire were a narcissus
When its branches appeared in the green leaves,

2. An emerald that showed us stars
Kneaded with pure ambergris.

3. When we greet it in our gatherings
We smell the musk in the wine.

4. O family of the Messenger, you are superior
To the shining stars,

5. And you dazzled your enemies
With your flowing virtues,

6. And along with nobility you have
Eloquence and abundant favors.

7. So if you take pride in your nobility,
Then yours is a pride that makes you eminent.

8. And how many fires threatening Ahmad
You extinguished with spears,

9. Which you dip in blood,
And with bare blades

10. With them your livers are healed
From every infidel soul.

11. And you spurned the world from of old
And won the fortune of the hereafter.
