وَالرُّوحُ مِنْ إِعْرَاضِهَا هَالِكَهْ

٢. والْقَهْوَةُ الصَّهْبَاءُ مِنْ رِيْقِهَا
وَالْمِسْكُ مِنْ أَصْدَاغِهَا الحَالِكَهْ
3. She's owned yet she owns, O you who saw
One more beautiful than an owning mistress.
٣. مَمْلُوكَةٌ تَمْلِكُ يَا مَنْ رَآَى
أَحْسَنَ مِنْ مَمْلُوكَةٍ مَالِكَهْ
4. Whoever hasn't seen the pearl and its strand
Let him see it laughing.
٤. مَنْ لَمْ يَرَ الدُّرَّ وَتَأْلِيْفَهُ
فِي سِلْكِهِ فَلْيَرَهَا ضَاحِكَهْ
5. It moves through the bodies of the people of the earth
Where their spirits are wandering.
٥. تَسْلُكُ مِنْ أَجْسَامِ أَهْلِ الوَرَى
بِحَيْثُ أَرْوَاحُهُمْ سَالِكَهْ
6. Beauty has written on her cheek
For every blood shed you are its spiller.
٦. قَدْ كَتَبَ الحُسْنُ عَلَى خَدِّهَا
كُلُّ دَمٍ أَنْتِ لَهُ سَافِكَهْ
