1. There is no good in the affection of one who dislikes you
Nor is there good in a companion who does not match you

2. When a man does not give the same affection in return
As you have given him, know that I will part from him

3. So if you wish, keep his company but no good is with him
And if you wish, make him a friend whom you accommodate
