1. Despite the envious we spent the night together,
Our talk like musk-scented wine, aging as we conversed.
2. If some of that talk could revive the dead,
He'd wake in his grave after being shrouded.
3. I clasped his wrist and we slept side by side,
And told the night, "Be long, for the moon has set."
4. When dawn broke it parted him from me -
What joy is there that time does not ruin?
