1. We are a body of mercy and affection
Kept awake by members if one nods off

2. My nation in every region complains
Where are your members, O body?!

3. Living is unbearable for them
While we in our abodes have all comfort

4. O you who feels safe in your homelands
Your brothers have no native lands

5. O you happy in your chambers
Some of us never sleep from constant distress

6. O man, a man is here
Let all listen, none has spoken

7. Wondrous is a forest full
Of ostriches, yet no lion it holds

8. Oh my Lord, to You I complain
Grave is the issue, and You my pillar

9. Mecca yearns for Al-Aqsa
Al-Aqsa's niche weeps from sorrow

10. Where is one whose presence benefits us?
My people's foam, though foam is useless

11. No longer lines against our foes
Each party lined its lines and split

12. We were killed by daggers of passion
And we considered our killing as firewood

13. Hypocrisy, dissent, and desire
Left no skin on the heart untouched

14. Our affliction has become amongst ourselves
All of us, when seeing money, lions

15. If only, when sipping from Zamzam
I cleanse the world of envy's vileness

16. Lord, Your enemies spread corruption, so give victory
Lord, without You no pillar for a servant

17. They raised defeated gods
And we gained victory "Say, He is One God"
