1. I weep over an abode with parting words
It no longer welcomes my greeting
2. And I curse the raven of separation with hatred
For it is the harbinger of evil omens
3. And desire narcissus over wild ginger
and myrtle over a rugged tree and a thin, small tree
4. And I indulge in wine during its seasons
Do not abstain from it claiming it forbidden
5. For he who abandons wine for another
Lives with eyes yearning, deprived
