١. اِترُكِ الأَطلالَ لا تَعبَأ بِها
إِنَّها مِن كُلِّ بُؤسٍ دانِيَه
2. Drink wine though forbidden it may be
For this world is ephemeral, soon to recede
٢. وَاِشرَبِ الخَمرَ عَلى تَحريمِها
إِنَّما دُنياكَ دارٌ فانِيَه
3. With herb I was once graced, a man said to me
The sun has snared for us here in the wild
٣. مِن عُقارٍ مَن رَآها قالَ لي
صيدَتِ الشَمسُ لَنا في باطِيَه
