1. The reviver of hearts, her name belies her
More delicate and refined than gems
١. أَمُحيِيَةَ القَلبِ ضِدُّ اِسمِها
أَرَقَّ وَأَصفى مِنَ الجَوهَرِ
2. Royalty is humbled in her eyes
As is the couch next to the pulpit
٢. تَخِفُّ الخِلافَةُ في عَينِها
وَرُبَّ السَريرُ مَعَ المِنبَرِ
3. With her beauty she rules all people
And melts the heart of the Prince Abu al-Azhar
٣. وَقَد مَلَكَت بِالجَمالِ الأَنامَ
وَرِقَّ الأَميرِ أَبي الأَزهَرِ
