1. I have fixated on the two Ahmads, both of them,
So that the passion of my heart becomes their passion.

2. Two fledglings who were clothed fully in blamelessness
And nurtured in bounty by their fathers.

3. Two moons, nay two suns amidst clouds,
They are my passion among all people, they are they.

4. They are the two for whom, when it is said "wish for me",
I desire no gazelles of the wild but them.

5. So from me is greetings to all the nomads
Except for them two, until death comes to me.
