1. O Harun, you are indeed of the chiefs of Muḍar,
And the best of Qaḥṭān is ʿUthmān, son of ʿUthmān.

2. O Harun, you are indeed of the chiefs of Muḍar,
And your sword is indeed from the sons of Qaḥṭān.

3. So strengthen, O Commander of the Faithful, your hands with it,
For among swords there is no equal to your sword.
