1. You readily offer gifts for al-Husayn while scorning all others.
You have given the positions of praise to their rightful people,

2. And obtained the finest of them - what an excellent gain!
When the Imam selects you for his secret,

3. You are rightly guided in what you do and precise.
None has reached your high moral standard in tribulation,

4. And determination in every difficult matter.
You have mixed your fear of God with fear of Him,

5. So you know what to do and what to avoid.
Convey a message to the Imam from me,

6. That after it I will seek forgiveness.
And my testimony is that I am a loyal worshipper -

7. So test that out in the days to come.
