1. Oh give me wine perfumed sweetly at dawn,
Poured on narcissus whose breath grants it more intoxication,
١. أَلا فَاسقِني مِسكِيَّةَ العَرفِ مُزَّةً
عَلى نَرجِسٍ تُعطيكَ أَنفاسَهُ الخَمرُ
2. Eyes that when you look at them are as though
Tears of dew from above their lids were pearls,
٢. عُيونٌ إِذا عايَنتَها فَكَأَنَّما
دُموعُ النَدى مِن فَوقِ أَجفانِها دُرُّ
3. Their whites are white and their lashes green,
Their pupils yellow, their breath fragrant and clean,
٣. مَناصِبُها بيضٌ وَأَجفانُها خُضرُ
وَأَحداقُها صُفرٌ وَأَنفاسُها عِطرُ
4. In a garden it's as if its plants
Were clothed in splendor when the rain first wet,
٤. بِرَوضَةِ بُستانٍ كَأَنَّ نَباتَها
تَقَنَّعَ وَشياً حينَ باكَرَها القَطرُ
5. The sun and moon alternate around it,
So one who's seen a sun spun round by a moon's yet.
٥. يُديرُ عَلَينا الشَمسَ وَالبَدرُ حَولَها
فَيا مَن رَأى شَمساً يَدورُ بِها بَدرُ
