1. We console the Commander of the Faithful, Muhammad,
For the best of the dead whom the graves have hidden.

2. Indeed the Commander of the Faithful, Muhammad,
Is a pillar of steadfastness in calamities and patient.

3. With the Commander of the Faithful, Muhammad,
Thesecrets of the kingdom became resplendent and the pulpits stable.

4. You have always been a pillar of might and a helper of Islam,
Just as you are for Islam a pillar of might and helper.

5. And you have always been watchful with a protective eye
From Allah - the fates have no power over you.

6. You manage the affairs of the people with ninety arguments,
And your guidance is praiseworthy and your honor abundant.
