1. Echo your sounds in the valleys and all around,
And rise up for the battle of jihad and advance.

2. Echo your call in the meadows and mountains,
And at every turn that yearns toward you.

3. And make your cry ring out in the skies, for here,
They have choked off the call and closed off the mouth.

4. And raise up your call to the heavens, to circle
Freely among its orbits, between the stars.

5. For who will answer you, when the world has shut
Its ears, and home is the grip of a criminal?

6. So raise it up to the All-Merciful, a flutter of certainty
In God—not fickle, and not fanciful.

7. And seek refuge in Him, for His doors
Remain open to the petitioner marked with good.

8. They were unlocked to blessings—what has closed them?
And why has the young man not shown resolve?

9. What stopped them, such that their march
Became like scarce, gloomy lightning?

10. Why have you not spread dawn through its edges,
Spreading the lightning of resolves and blood?

11. So rise!—for these meadows have diffused
The fragrance of inspiring jihad.

12. Glories of history, revelation of prophethood,
Splendor of Night Journey, honor of Muslim.

13. And companion of signs, surging in its terrain
A light to flood any meadow or road.

14. Sacred lights—my heart is humble before them
And purifies itself of passion or sin.

15. O meadow of al-Aqsa—your yearning is tears
And the sighs of your breast, from burning untold.

16. You look around! Where is the storm of the youth
To save you from the misery of firm shackles?

17. You look around! And every day an uprising
Storms, while your chains in the tumult are unbroken.

18. Where is the lad, for God, who will drive his tread
And leap like slicing blades or crushing hammers?!

19. And pound on the doors of Heaven, in blood
Pure, and a vow in the fray unbroken?

20. So rise, when you fulfill the plan of a believer
And walk the path of an armored knight.

21. And all the meadows thrill!—O their beauty,
As each wears the cave on its brow and wrist.

22. Adorned with crawlers, as if they are
The first light of dawn, the scent of moist earth.

23. Every plain you’ve stirred
With the gusts of a gambler and known goal.

24. A hope is on our eyelids and breasts
And our smiles and above the grin—

25. A hope, as if dawn in its hints
And its gentle blow between the sheltering clouds.

26. And we hold in our arms the glory of passion
And longing between winged and muted.

27. By God, how the hearts incline toward a
Radiant tomorrow, marked on the scroll of time.

28. And the processions of faith reveal their triumph
To restore the glow of achievements passed.

29. And the world's forums echo around them
“God is Great!”—Draw near and advance!

30. Do not recoil except with a shining conquest,
And your precious honor in the fray unblemished.

31. Blessed home, and field of devotion—
The gate of Heaven, sign of consuming longing.

32. O day when the caravans gathered here
Cleaving their way through crowded gloom.

33. They were not barred by meager supplies or grief
Of that captivity, nor grip of loss.

34. They were not stopped by numbness of kin, or distraction
Of heedless dreams and slumber.

35. They clasped their fists as if each was
The flint of resolve amidst raging flames.

36. In them, if you looked, was nothing but pebbles
That thundered on the horizon like lightning.

37. As if they were cannon fire, had they ignited,
Between the weddings of jihad and funeral.

38. With throats aquiver, as if their clamor
Were thunder to convulse, or beasts to growl.

39. They left the citadels of usurpers as if
Crumbling under cracked and shattered walls.

40. A hope that fancy teases—could it be
The fancy spoke truth after figments?

41. Or was it lightning!—then for resolves
That blew on a path more precise and wise.

42. O scheme of faith!—its clarity amid the fray
And wise counsel is the honor of deeds.

43. It is guarded by the swords that shine
On the battlefield with the Muslim way.

44. The years pass, and each day a trick
Between “solutions,” and claims of wronged justice.

45. We can scarcely bear the disgrace of a ruse
Unless we fold it in a viler scheme.

46. O nation of Islam—your path lies barren
Between mirages that turn, and claims.

47. So its roads are thorns, sharper for you
Than scraping file, or taste of colocynth.

48. The partnership of compromise you seek
Is a partnership that stretches its serpent fangs.

49. Why not wake to the plains that
Lead to the clear, straightest road?

50. The rights of peoples are seized by grasping reins
And steering—the view of the advancing believer.

51. So ready the meadows of death, that you may be granted
The honor of life, and advance, do not refrain!
