١. نَزَلنا بِإِحساءِ العُذَيبِ وَلَم تَكُن
لَنا هِمَّةٌ إِلّا اِغتِيالَ المَنازِلِ
2. That would make the lands between Busra and Babylon shriek.
٢. لِنَحوِيَ أَرضاً أَو نُناهِبَ غارَةً
يَصيخُ لَها ما بَينَ بُصرى وَبابِلِ
