1. He went astray from his Lord, so He impoverished him,
Until wealth saw him and denied knowing him.
ูก. ุชุงูู ุนูู ุฑุจูู ูุฃููุฑูู
ุญุชููู ุฑุขู ุงูุบูู ูุฃููุฑููู
2. So from his long occupation he became a scholar;
Sustenance casts itself to him wherever he is seen.

ู ุทููู ุญุฑูุฉู ุนููู

ููุฐููู ุงูุฑููุฒูู ุญูุซู ุฃุจุตุฑููู
3. O Halabian, God ordained for himโ
with wandering and povertyโwhen He formed him.
ูฃ. ูุง ุญููุจูุงู ูุถู ุงูุฅููู ููู
ุจุงูุชููู ูุงูููุฑู ุญููู ุตููููุฑููู
4. If they had mixed him with musk he would have spoiled it,
Or if they had thrown him in the sea he would have made it murky.
