How can my eyes find sleep
١. يا سَائِلي عَن منامي
من أينَ للعينِ نومُ
2. This is because of your abandonment
Will there ever come a day of your union
٢. هَذا لِهَجركَ حولُ
فَهل لوصلِكَ يومُ
3. Some find pleasure in abandonment
And some find pleasure in union
٣. قد سرَّ بالهجرِ قومٌ
وسرّ بالوصلِ قومُ
4. O Lord, there is blame in union
And there is no blame in abandonment
٤. يا ربَّ في الوصلِ لومٌ
وليس في الهجرِ لومُ
