1. The West rides the wind
or air or ether

2. While the East rides
ignorance or donkey or camel

3. And time backs the strong man
with its firmness

4. While time lets down those who covet
And time slaps those who cower

5. For those who step forward - prosperity
For those who step back - affliction

6. This one is discouraged by the veil
While that one is provoked by debauchery

7. It's as if the veiled ones in every kingdom are tombs
Debauchery does no harm to those raised by culture

8. But the veil causes corruption and evils to spread
Why do those bright stars set?

9. It may hinder achieving our noble goals
Are you alone, oh intolerant zealot

10. The circles of justice will eventually turn on the oppressor
On earth souls may perish but the sky does not change

11. Women were late so men advanced
Happier to travel

12. to fulfill her needs she walks
Protected by her dignity

13. and chastity her guardian
Mothers are the source

14. Their children are their flowers
Mothers are stars

15. Radiance and the son is light
Mothers are schools From them conscience grows
