Look up, O soul, to the sky, for I

72. Do not see on land the path to eternity
It is endless, not lost

73. It is boundless, without limits
Be guided by my poetry, and beyond its obscurity

88. The gate of heaven is not barred
You are a soul that rises to wherever it wants

89. No veil between it and ascension
Do not fear destruction from striking there

90. You are a soul, and the soul cannot be destroyed
Only honor is for who dares

91. And humiliation is for the cowardly
If you are determined, every difficulty softens

92. None attains his purpose except the firm
Thank the Creator, before whom

93. My faith in Him and unbelief are equal
It is said the martyr lives on at God

94. So who on earth is not a martyr?
These are truths I have declared

95. Openly, without introduction
Hear them and do not divulge them to the public

96. Around the throne of the Majestic
We are all believers glorifying the Merciful

97. In the shadow of His outstretched throne
I never prostrated one day to other than God

98. God alone is my object of worship
Ask God to lighten my imprisonment

99. In my grave and undo my shackles
And peace upon you the day of my parting

100. And peace upon the day of my stillness
