1. They seek access if they cross it
To gardens that allow every desire

2. Of fruits to reap and succulent meat
And a drink from a cool flowing spring

3. And the company of lovely maidens
Smiling like children at play

4. Underneath are rivers across the land flowing
Honey purified for the devout

5. Indeed in it is lasting, plentiful life
And peace from life's misfortunes

6. Indeed in it is amusement and a flowing cup
Its joys increase day after day

7. Indeed in it are figs, palms and fruits
And grapes, a delight for the worshipers

8. Indeed in it are bangles that shimmer
Of silver upon porcelain arms

9. Indeed for the righteous is salvation
And never-ending bounty

10. For those who pray and believe in their Lord
While for unbelievers waits doom

11. And for those who fast the month of Ramadan
Quenched by day, fulfilled by night

12. And for those who come to perform Hajj pilgrimage
Rewarded though from distant lands

13. And for those who give charity to purify themselves
And those who come willingly to jihad

14. Indeed great is the reward of the mujahideen
Beyond count or number

15. So when God grants them victory
They take the daughters of every enemy

16. And ravish them without contract or witness
Among them, neither bound nor wed

17. God bears witness it is the truth
