And a return to the path of salvation

2. And a surge forward as nations had surged before
And an awakening from slumber

3. So I hoped they would spring up lightly
And traverse the path in leaps

4. To cast off the shackles that had weighed them down
With their excessive links

5. To walk in the light of culture
That would save them from stumbling

6. I said the nations had gone before you
So pursue them and broaden your strides

7. I gave you light yet you chose
To remain in darkness

8. You exceeded in stagnation as if
You never felt life

9. You shed the rights I granted you
That generations had sought to gain

10. I inspired your rise yet you found
No desire within yourselves for ascension

11. I wanted your liberation yet you would accept
Only firmly clasped shackles

12. So they approached you, constantly attacking
In relentless offensives

13. You rejected light, joy and freedom
Scornful of guidance and guides

14. Good deeds repaid by misdeeds
What a miserable reward for good deeds

15. History will relate what contemptible
Spirit you had, you who scorned nobility and resolves

16. They preferred ignorance rule
That women remain veiled

17. The young girl looks to her father
With eyes full of that sorrow

18. Muslims are the last of all others
Muslims have overwhelmed Muslim women

19. Do you think they will desist from waywardness
And the disasters it entails

20. Or do they say "Thus we found
Our fathers and mothers of old"

21. Morals only change slowly
They are a legacy of the dead

22. Ignorance cannot be empowered
Even if it leads the vulgar in attacks

23. Its great numbers are inconsequential
Thousands may be lost in the units

24. You have pridefully clung to decadence
Recklessly courting peril

25. Does the veil prevent she who is uneducated
From foolhardiness in desires?

26. Rather I see the veil facilitates
What you fear of shame upon the young women

27. I have found stagnation more akin to demise
And life found in movement

28. O you who call, your people still
Look to the past, bound by that regard

29. They see nothing in renewal but heresy
That bars them from Heavens

30. Mustafa came with reform but found
The obstacles you have found

31. He organized the army and regained
Glory after wading hardships

32. This is your Heaven, enter it
And eat of its blessings what you wish

33. I hope for them to come to you
And I wish you do not disappoint my hopes

34. That is my wish, if it is wasted
My soul will be lost in regrets
