1. He knew he came without intent
So he hurried to return and return is best

2. And completed the count of his breaths
And it hesitated in him and struggled

3. And released a soul he saw that
When attached to life, it is restricted

4. Death, no man escapes from it
Even if he is in towering constellations

5. The strong dies as
The weak dies, so is there an immortal?

6. Man is just hostage to decay
So glory be to the One who alone abides

7. He is Allah, worshipped in His earth
As He is worshipped in the heavens

8. If you want to lighten your affliction
Then think upon the death of the Prophet Muhammad
