1. O Ahmad, son of the king of the age
You have come to us, an auspicious arrival

2. And O reviver of the faith, you have clothed us
Since your coming with new coldness

3. You were born under an auspicious star that
We see misfortune banished away from you, miserable and expelled

4. Through you, the kingdom and glory are elated
Through you, the faith and knowledge hope for more

5. May your father the king, who
Has come a long way in noble deeds, be congratulated

6. Lofty ambition, bounty, glory, justice and sound opinion
are your traits

7. So you have been blessed and then lived
Along with might and triumph, a long life

8. And providence watches over you
And thwarts your enemies and the envious

9. And the soul of Muhammad the Chosen One
Shadows you both, as a devoted father and friend

10. And O Ghadanfar, record for this cub
His history and existence

11. With a verse of insightful poetry
To which scholars bow down in prostration

12. He will remain a formidable, awe-inspiring king
Fortunate, righteous, glorious and magnificent
