إذا لبسوا عمائمهم ثنوها

1. When they don their turbans, they twist them
with generosity, and when they travel, they illuminate the way.

١. إِذا لَبِسوا عَمائمهم ثَنَوها
عَلى كَرَم وَإِن سَفَروا أَناروا

2. Others trade and barter for them,
but they are merchants only with swords.

٢. يَبيع وَيَشتَري لَهمُ سِواهم
وَلَكِن بِالسُيوف همُ تِجار

3. When you are a neighbor of the sons of Khuzaymah,
then you are a neighbor of the noblest of the two burdens.

٣. إِذا ما كُنتَ جار بني خُريم
فَأَنتَ لأكرم الثِقلَينِ جار
